Last Night's Action: Rangers Drop One More to Caps

Capitals 2, Rangers 0: The Rangers came out hitting and shooting in the first period of last night's first round playoff game against Washington. Unfortunately, despite outshooting the Capitals, they were unable to score on Michal Neuvirth in the the first period or the other two. Neuvirth had 22 saves, giving the Caps a 2-0 advantage in the series. Jason Chimera got Washington onto the scoreboard early in the second period and Jason Arnott added a power play soon afterwards.
