Photos: Dramatic Midtown Van Fire At 30th & 5th Avenue

     

Earlier this evening, a van caught fire at 30th Street and Fifth Avenue. A reader who sent us some photos around 6:30 p.m. said, "Burned for 10 minutes before FDNY arrived. Area bars are now surprisingly empty for St. Patrick's Day." [ more ? ]
